I'm just amazed by people! 😤😒 we went to an exhibit opening at the local children's museum this morning! While walking through the exhibit, I try to find a place off to the side so our stroller is not in the way, my husband then takes our daughter to see things... while in one small room, I pulled up next to another stroller, which had a child about my daughters age in it... I looked around the room and looked back, then all of a sudden the mother of this child was GONE! the child still strapped in the stroller... my husband came through said they were ready to move on... but I could not go... this boys mother walked through the rest of the exhibit, which had many small rooms, interconnected, and literally NEVER came back to check on him... there were literally several hundred people in this place, and for over 20 minutes, I watched this kid from a distance... in complete disbelief that someone would just leave their kid of about 16 months, strapped in a stroller with hundreds of people walking around in an exhibit! 😡I was Vibrating with anger! Seriously, what the hell is wrong with people! 🙄😒😡

I would've been livid and embarrassed her. I would've been calling out for a woman that thinks neglecting her babies is okay

@jessica408, it took everything in me not to walk up to her and smack her... I thought about wheeling the stroller to the security station and telling them I found this kid with no parents to be found! 😒

thank you for sticking around to watch that poor kid. unfortunately some parents are like that and it takes a good scare for them to get it together, after 5 minutes I would have called security, or told one of the people working. that's ridiculous.

@kmharr3, it's just scary, because if someone is looking to snatch a kid... that is the perfect place... tons of places for kids to slip away... but this woman basically gift wrapped her kid for someone! 😒 my husband is always volunteering to stay with the cart so I can look at things... but I'm more observant than he is... I can't ever actually enjoy the exhibits when my daughter is there because I'm too busy people watching... maybe I'm just paranoid... but only about 30 minutes from where I live a girl was attempted to be snatched from a grocery cart at a target! The kids mom was right there! She was only slightly distracted by selecting products... I won't even go to the store alone with my daughter because I can't focus on my task, because I'm too worried about other people getting to close to my kid! 😅 I'd hate to be someone who ever tried to get between me and my kids! I would seriously lack restraint!

just out of curiosity was the lady American? my mom brought up a good point, in other countries that is really popular for them to do that, and even leave them outside of bars.

@kmharr3, seemed American to me... she was with another lady in assuming her mother, they were reading exhibits and walking around with 3 other kids all over about 8 yrs old! Just left the baby strapped in the seat! 😒 she was Caucasian decent, well dressed, kids all well dressed, expensive stroller... just blew me away! Maybe she was visiting from some other place... another culture... but i just could not walk away knowing no one was watching him! At one point a little boy ran over and started talking to him... then disappeared into another room

wow that's crazy! that blows me away too. I don't know how people can do that... too many bad people in this world
