This has got to be a joke! Little one threw up AGAIN last night. They gave her medicine to help her reflux and she only took it yesterday. Does it take longer than one day to start working or do you mamas think it is her formula? It's Saturday so her dr is closed. Idk what to do :(

😢 oh my gosh! Poor thing! Both of you! Have you tried switching her formula before? What kind are you using?

It does sometimes take longer than a day, depends on the child. It could also be the formula. When she finishes eating does she burp before you lay her down

Keep her elevated for 30mins-hour after feeding her. My girls literally had to sleep in rock n plays until they got too big for this very reason.

My daughter was on Zantac from about 6 weeks til 6 months and she was given it before her first feed in the morning and before her last feeding at night and it took about a week or so to notice the difference
It helped a lot but then she started having a bunch of other digestive issues at around 6 months and we ended up switching her formula to similac alimentum which helped significantly and she was able to get off her reflux meds :)
Prayers you find the right answer! Sometimes it's just trial and error til you find what works. Good luck momma!

@momofthree2016, I took her to the chiropractor but if that doesn't help we are gonna switch formula

Also adding a little bit of baby oatmeal to her bottles helped significantly!
