Question for my NEW YORK mamas! Do u know if it's a state thing, where u have to tell a new employer ur pregnant upon hiring. Really need a new job but just got a feeling it's going to more difficult whole pregnant but these pay checks aren't making the cut & im not one to live off my man I'm very Independent, like to be anyways & tho he doesn't care about picking up what I can't dish out. I DO, & it puts me in the worst depression with a massive amount of aniexty this time of month when bills are going out 😧😣

@kmarie1303, oh okay. In that case, I still would not tell them until you are hired for the job. You are only legally supposed to inform them when you have the job.

No, you don't need to tell them anything. And I wouldn't mention it at an interview or anything. A lot of times they won't hire you because of it but will say a different reasoning. You're better off telling them after you're hired, then they can't do anything about it.
