Sometimes I'm jealous of other moms and their kids. I know every kid is different but my son is 8.5 months and isn't crawling yet. But he's so smart and already says "all done" and "hi" and a few other things. Seeing the differences between myself and my friends kids drives me nuts. I love my baby boy but it's frustrating sometimes!

@babyjjsmommy, okay! I've definitely started having him on the floor more. I'll put the walker aside and concentrate on that. Thank you! 😊
My son will be a year old next week and still isn't crawling. It's not a major issue. He started physical therapy at 10 months and has greatly improved. He learned to scoot everywhere but he still hasn't gotten the hang of crawling. I think that boys tend to be a little slower at certain things like crawling and walking. I will say, if you are putting him in a walker it isn't helping and it may actually be doing more harm than good. When we started PT his dr. said get rid of the walker because it doesn't help them learn to walk it just holds them up and prevents them from working the muscles themselves.
my daughter is almost 8m in a couple days. she crawls everywhere! now she wants to walk but.i have to hold her hands and guide.her. i had her in the walker since she was about 4m. they at like 6 i let her roll around on the floor we would always try to get her to crawl but she wouldnt. one day she just went on her own lol it takes time. if they have other siblings around there age or a couple years older that motivates them too cause they would want to be up and moving like them. i think thats why my daughter started cause my 3years old brother runs every where and she gets excited.
