What's everyone's views on swaddling and how long did you do it for and did you use blankets or…

I still swaddle now and Evelyn's nearly 6 months old. I just use one of her blankets x I only still do it because I found if one of her arm is free she hits herself in her sleep and it wakes her up.

I used to do it with a blanket for a few weeks when noah was about 3 weeks old as he always scared himself awake. but now he hates blankets he's too leggy and kicks everything off lol x

@mimibear, thanks yeah Florence often has one arm out actually, I'm thinking of trying her with out but she goes down so well swaddled, just wondered at what age people stopped and how they got on lol

I stopped for a while and she would be up every hour so have just started trying it again x

@mimibear, yeah if she ends up with her arms out in the night she just keeps waking up all the time so I don't know if it would work just yet lol

it's okay to swaddle until they can roll :) Harvey has never liked it though he likes to be free haha x

@beck_yemm, yeah she can't roll yet anyway, plus she sleeps in a sleep positioner thing, but like two wedges either side of her xxx

I swaddle my little one for bed time since we have started that he has slept threw the night I think the security of makes him feel safe xxx
