Can someone tell me why this bitch who's never been pregnant is trying to tell people how much…

Can someone tell me why this bitch who's never been pregnant is trying to tell people how much weight pregnant women should gain? All because she "read some articles". 😒😒 Dumb. I'm not saying she's totally wrong. The recommended weight gain is USUALLY between 10 and 30lbs, but everyone is different! Saying people don't need extra calories til the third trimester?? Some people need them in the beginning! Every woman is different. Every pregnancy is different. Articles are irrelevant because EVERYONE IS UNIQUE. I hate people who read an article on WhatToExpect and then assume they're an expert on something they've never even experienced.

it depends on the woman. for example, I gained probably just a few pounds, the entire pregnancy cause yes I was allil heavy but he came out just perfect. and he's perfect now.

@babylove11416 exactly. I was underweight throughout my pregnancy and my doctors recommended I gain 60 pounds but my body would only gain 15. Some people gain weight more easily than others! It's not all black and white and to try and fit all pregnancies into one generalization just really rubbed me the wrong way.

Ugh! I love people who live in glass houses. If she ever gets pregnant she will learn. Those articles only show the average. Every pregnant lady is different just as every pregnancy is different. I love when people are "experts" on subjects they know nothing about. Grrrrrrrrr!

some just needs to shut it, and be pregnant themselves to find out. I didn't know much but reading articles and being pregnant with my son. so stfu, whoever told you that. you got a ton of mommies behind your bacm.

I had 3 pregnancies. They were all different and my weight gain differed. My first was my easiest and I gained about 25 lbs. My last was my most difficult as I was barely able to gain 15 lbs. I plateaued towards the end and gained 12 lbs total. I was losing and gaining and losing again. Pay her no mind!

@marisaeileen yes! she's like "my mom is a nutritionist and a health coach, I'm not giving false information" ...okay but is she an OB? If not, then you're probably misinformed by wikianswers 😂😂

@amberjacq it depends on how much you weigh before your pregnancy, usually. My doctor explained that heavier women (think morbidly obese) are usually advised to gain between 10 and 15, women of a healthy weight are advised to gain 20 to 30, and underweight women are advised to gain more than 30. However, as we all know, it's not always the case! Our bodies are growing a completely new human, and pretty much just do whatever they want lol, including pushing our organs around (I do not miss that). Some people gain weight easier than others. Some gain in the beginning and others in the middle or end, others lose a bunch of weight! It's ultimately not up to us no matter how we try to make it go in our favor.

On a somewhat different note, I'm guessing that's an ED support page?? Based off the user name. Maybe that's why she's talking about not gaining weight and stuff.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom it is. I'm recovering from an eating disorder so I have an account just to get some extra support since my family doesn't know.

Ah, got it. I'm fairly certain my ED Twitter account still exists somewhere. My family didn't know but my husband found out. That was rough. Other than that girl talking about things she doesn't know, I hope the site is helping.

@kimberlyyyy_the-preemie-mom my boyfriend and best friend know about it and they check up on me every once in a while. it's just nice to have a place to vent you know? because even if you talk to someone about it, if they haven't experienced it, then they really don't understand.

yeah id say id be the one to end up being 300 pounds 😂😂 which is why im dieting and stuff and i have pcos so its going to a while before i ever get pregnant again i had two miscarriages and didnt ever get the chance to be in the weight gaining stage they were both early, and yes everyones bodies just gain and lose weight no one really has much control over it unless you work hard to lose or gain it but id say for myself ill probably be huge because i gain weight soooo easy and its the worst!! but for others it can be harder to gain everyones body is different and no one besides a doctor should be telling other women how much they should gain so i think women who do that are way out of line because its not their place to tell someone else how they should look when pregnant
