All my son does is cry unless he's sleeping or being breastfed. I don't know what to do anymore. If he's awake he wants to be latched on for hours and I can't handle it. I feel like he's not getting enough milk or something. I hate breastfeeding, I never wanted to do it in the first place but I felt like I had to.

You definitely don't have to breastfeed! I always thought it was going to be something so amazing and it was TERRIBLE for me! I also didn't want to be that Mom with a kid attached to my boob because so many moms say their kid falls asleep that way, and refuses to be put down, and just wants to comfort suck. But if you just want your baby to have breast milk then just pump its nor as bad! Right now he's prob crying a lot though because the first 6 weeks there's SOOO many growth spurts! First 6 weeks is definitely the roughest! Hang in there momma it'll get better!

you don't have to breastfeed if you don't want to. Never feel pressure to do something that you don't want to do. You can switch to formula.
