How past your due date are you? They usually don't let you go more than a week before they induce. They should have actually given you an induction date already if you passed your due date.

@cassmatos I'm stubborn and said I won't be induced unless medically necessary after 42 weeks lol 😂 I'm 40 weeks and 4 days! so I'm really hoping to go soon within the next couple days!

@cassmatos that's not entirely true. I'm allowed to go to my 42nd week & then I'll be induced. it's not rare for a first time mom to go into her 41st week! :) @sarahbelle I bet you're going to go into labor any day now!!

That's why I said usually @mamalotus, they usually give you an induction date if you've reached your due date. They ask anyway.

@cassmatos Yea the induction date is 42 weeks unless you schedule one prior. some people don't want to go 42 weeks & get induced right away. it really depends on your Dr. I am using a birth center. we've talked about inducing, but only if I'm not in labor by the day I turn 42 weeks. the date is simply the day I turn 42 weeks. (:
