Use some selsum blue shampoo to wash your child hair and as you're washing the hair use a brush to scrub the hair but gently. After you shampoo your child hair rinse the hair while brushing their hair. Use some conditioner if you want to bring moisture back. My mom told me to use some Vaseline for my son hair because it worked for me when I was a baby and it worked for my son but you can use coconut oil or Shea butter on the hair and make sure you brush the hair really good. Wash your baby hair every 2-3 days and make sure you brush and moisturizer the hair 2x a day.
@lbmommy124, nobody has mentioned what I do so I will let ya know bc it works amazing the thing with oils is it can actually clog the pores on the head after a while if u use to often so I have this routine I use a rubber type baby brush it came in safety first kit and lightly scrub with baby soap then rinse and use reg baby brush all directions right to left then left to right front to back back to front in tub then I add lotion after bath next morn I use reg baby brush dry with all directions as mentioned before over and over it could take a good 5 mins or more flakes will come off everywhere literally all over babys clothes looks like bad dandruff looks like my son has been in the snow lol after all the flakes are dusted off with hand add lotion for the day. U have to do this every day or every other day until u get it under control u will start to find out the brush dry is way better than any oils or creams bc they just moisturize it but don't remove it hope this helps
