Why do people try to fight me on not wanting to induce before 42 weeks? Everyone keeps saying…

Dont listen to them... every one was telling me to ask to be induced because maybe my baby would be in a risk so i asked to get induced . I was in labor for 41 hrs.. they gave me a pill to get my cervix soft but didn't work. Y had to get the balloon method so i can start to dialate... it was a rough labor..

@lara93 that's exactly what I keep telling people! People have been giving birth long before induction was medically possible. I don't want to stress myself with a long labor or stress my baby because he isn't ready, just to end up needing a c section. I will trust my doctor if he says that waiting is putting my baby at risk, but that's about it. Otherwise I'm sticking it out no matter how long it takes. 💪

Yes stick with that.. my son was in the nicu after being born bc he had liquid in his lungs and i believe it was bc all the stress i made him go through.

you are a trooper for being willing to wait until 42 weeks. I applaud you. I was in so much pain at 38 and 39 weeks hoping to just be able to have my youngest. He turned out to be a 9lb 6oz little chubber!

I got induced 41 weeks 3 days but that's when it was safest for me if I went to 42 I would have had to do c section do what's safest for you don't let anyone tell you otherwise
