Every day I post a picture of Coop (on Instagram) in his carseat to help promote proper carseat safety! :) Always make sure the crotch buckle is aways secured right at the crotch. Never to low. Never on the belly. The chest clip needs to be right the top of the armpits. Make sure you cannot pinch any access strap and it is snuggly against baby. Rear face until *at least* 2 years old. height and weight have nothing to do with bone/muscle maturity. Never use products like strap cushions that were not made by the same car seat manufacturer for use with the same seat. Never wear a coat or jacket in the seat.

People crack me up and make me want to bang my head against the wall at the same time. Car seat safety isn't about opinion. There is a right and wrong way to do things when it comes to car seats. It's so frustrating trying to help people and then have people who have no idea what they are talking about be like "oh sure it's totally fine to use an aftermarket product" *bangs head against the wall*
I need help y'all... my daughter is 3 and her dad took her carseat straps out of her carseat, so she has no straps hes just using the seatbelt. I read that they would have to be at 7 to do that... any thoughts?
