Hey ladies, could you give me your honest opinion?

So I told my husband that he could use our tax money to finish up his flight training.. Well we're getting more back than what we expected. He now has more than enough to finish his flight training. Well, my problem is that now I see the opportunity to put money away for an emergency fund. But I don't want to take away any of the money because I said he could use all of it to finish his training.. I feel completely selfish just thinking about it. 😞

Do you think it would be okay to use some of it for an emergency fund, or would I be crossing a line because I already said he could use all of it?
