Okay so my husband goes back to work tomorrow after being home for a week & so then it's basically just gonna be me doing everything while he's at work. Does any of your bfs/hubbys still get up throughout the night with the newborn? Mine doesn't think he should have to.

once mine went back to work he no longer got up at night with my daughter because I stayed at home all day and he worked long hours and needed his sleep. it makes sense to me now but not when I was sleep deprived.

If he is going to work and I am staying at home no he is not waking up with the baby. On the weekend when he's off we take turns. I feel if he's going to work making the money to support our family it is more important for him to get a full nights rest. Plus I take our morning nap with our song which gives me an extra few hours that he also doesn't get

Mine does! He either wakes up when he hears the baby and goes to take him or he ask me to wake him up when I need him. I usually don't wake him up though since he has to work and I'm breastfeeding anyway! He doesn't mind though and sees that I need my sleep sometimes. A few nights a week I will go to bed at 7 or 8 pm and he will take him until he wakes up hungry again - usually between 10:30 & midnight.

It's a lot harder with twins! Especially at night. I tried doing it all by myself at first, but I realized I wasn't able to tandem feed them by myself because I couldn't burp one baby while feeding the other (go figure😂) my boyfriend now wakes up to at least change their diapers and then burp them when I'm done.
