I am curious, when is the earliest they will do a c section when it isn't an emergency ?

39 weeks

From my understanding most won't until as close to due date as possible.

Multiples being 38.

makes sense. @achappex3 what about if baby is weighing weeks ahead.... do you know?

The last few weeks of the pregnancy are pretty important. They measure baby by limbs I believe.

I don't think they'll do it before 38-39 weeks even if baby is measuring ahead if there's no emergency medical reason behind it. I think if baby is breech they do it at 39 weeks but not earlier. I can't really speak from experience though, I was induced with my first at 40 weeks and had an emergency c section at 29 weeks.

@elise305, I had my 1st one at 39wks and 2nd one at 37 and 5 days. Both were non emergencies
