There's no need for induction if you're having a scheduled CS.

Nope. Induction is for Vaginal deliveries (unless of course they result in a CS).

You'll show up, they'll prep you, wheel you back and do the surgery.

No induction. They do monitor you and the baby for a while, set you up with an iv and then prep you for surgery.

@babyking1, I'm having my first c section too. I'm a little nervous but excited too. I talked to my dr and the hospital and they explained everything to me. Paperwork, prep, then surgery, and recovery.

@morganmommy79, yeah I'm scheduled for one cuz my baby measures big. They said they'll call me the day before my surgery and explain everything to me

@babyking1, that's why I'm having a c section and because she's breech. She was head down but not anymore. She's measuring at 9 lbs 6 oz. I go in Monday for more measurements and to set a date.

@morganmommy79, ahhh why did she change position? Mine has been head down for a while now but hopefully she doesn't change position lol

@babyking1, I'm not sure but she's one stubborn baby. She's only showed us her face twice in 9 months. And now she's flipping and staying head up. Keep me posted please. We are in this together! First time c sections with estimated big babies! :)
