My 3 week old is on Similar Advantage formula. He cries when he poops and his poop seems to be in a ball slightly hard. He has a hard time passing gas and I have been using gas drops. I made the decision to switch him to the purple Gerber formula. The WIC here only gives Gerber so I figure I'd switch him already. Does anyone else have problems with the Similac Advantage? Did switching help? If so what did you switch to?

@boymama0908 okay good. I'm doing the Gerber one. It's for fussiness and easy digestion. I'm hoping it helps him.

I had a problem with Enfamil the regular one so I switched to the sensitive one. but she's about go on similac sensitive because im on wic too which my doctor said was the same thing as the Enfamil sensitive. she was so gassy an fussy once I switched it stopped

I had a problem with similac advanced too. my daughter was switched to similac alimentum (wic offers similac here) and we've had no issues since

@aliakr @jessicarose0602 our WIC only offers Gerber. My first son did awful on the Enfamil formula and we switched him to the Gerber Soothe and OMG the difference was noticeable right away. My fiance bought a small tub of the Gerber Soothe so I'm hoping it will settle his belly.

if you need a different formula an the Gerber one doesn't work you can get a form from your pediatrician an wic will give you the formula. that's what I had to do cause they only offer us Gerber too @guaderrama_babies2
