Opinions about inducing?! I'm kinda worried/ nervous Doctor plans on inducing me at 40 weeks and 1…

I was induced with both of mine. the first time they didn't get me to the pitocin yet and.i was

my first labor happen on it's own, second i was induced and third on it's own. the level of pain was the same.

my third one the dr asked if i wanted her to stretch my cervix so it would happen on it's own and she did it 3x.

when they induce you they just give you med so they can labor started.

I did with both, once at 40 wks 1 day, and the other at 41 weeks. seemed to make things happen very fast and very hard. I didn't want an epidural, but at 7 cm I was begging for one. that helped so much, I can't imagine being induced and not having been numb. induction can make it more painful and more intense, so don't be afraid to ask for pain blocking

I don't think it was bad at all

I started the induction 2 doses of Cytotec... then my labor started on its own... never had to have the Pitocin... so I had normal labor pain... by the time I felt like I could not do it any longer, the pain was too strong, it was time to push... at that point your brain flips a switch, and I don't remember it hurting any longer... I'm sure it did, but I just remember my eyes closed and focusing on my body moving the baby down and out... it really was an amazing feeling!

I was induced at 42 weeks with pitocin and a cervical balloon. it wasn't that bad for me and I didn't have any pain meds. labor was quick for me and overall wasn't sure bad experience

I was induced at 39 weeks. with pitocin an they broke my water. it went amazing I has the epidural an felt Nothing. it was an amazing experience @jujubee2772
