i dont get why my 15 month old screams every night we put him to bed, we let him scream a while but have to end up getting him up 2-4 times and try again, anyone have that issue?

Moms! My baby's bottom is just so torn up and hot:( this rash won't go away fast enough! It hurts him so bad when he screams he throws up multiple times while getting changed! I don't know how to help him quick enough! Help!😭😭
