I got a depo shot October 16th had a period 2weeks after that and now im spotting almost 4weeks now what does this mean

my whole period stopped on the depo. I didn't have one at all but my cousin bled for bout 6 wks and then didn't bleed again

It's just a side effect. It happened to me too. I hated it. Never getting on it again!
