I really do believe that breastmilk and formula have something to do with how much a baby gets…

I read an article stating that children who are breast fed are less likely to get sick because when the sickness is going around and the mother contracts the virus, it helps to expose the baby to it so the babies body can fight it off. That's really all I know about the topic though!

I don't believe that. It's all about the child immune system. Of course breastfeed babies have more antibodies but it really depends on how their body works.

@korahleah_11, yeah I guess it does..@booboosmommy, @raquely, my son was breastfed and has only gotten sick like 3 times he is now 5 years old.. and formula fed babies I know are always at the hospital soon after they're born or in the future always with a cold.. it's just weird

Nope not true. My friend bf her baby she's 9 months now and has gotten sick with the flu 4-5 times already. And my baby girl is 8 months and has gotten sick once. So nope it's not true. It's how well we take care of our babies.

my son is 11 months old and till today has never gotten sick. Not even when he was teething he got a fever. He is formula feed.
