What an amazing day! 🌟 I spent some much needed time in nature. It's so windy today so I sat by the lake & let the wind blow my hair around as I sunk into deep thought. As the light rain came & went I told myself...

Everyone at my birth will have their own job. As long as everyone does their job I will have a healthy birth. I only have to think about my job.

My husband, my support. My midwife, my guide. My body will play a leading role & my mind will let it all happen. Even my baby has a role that day.

I truly believe I will have a healthy birth. Hallelujah. 🌠 Took a nice long walk to top off a great day. I can't wait to take our boy along with us (well, outside of my belly!)

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
