My husband and I began potty training our 18 month old a couple of weeks ago because she was telling us when she went potty in her diaper. So, we figured it was time to start potty training. After many days of accidents, she started going to the potty by herself without accidents. Then, the very next day she acted as if she was scared to go at all. She would hold it in and cry until she would just go potty on the floor. We gave her a piece of candy after she went on the potty, and she loved the whole idea of it until just a couple of days ago. Now, she doesn't even want to sit on her potty anymore 🙁 did we start too soon? Should we try again when she's a little older, or is it best to keep having her try everyday, even though she acts scared? Thank you mommies!!
