Okay so I just read a bunch of horror stories on the Mirena and it being hard for people to lose weight and I think that's why my body isn't working the way it did last time I was on a diet! Sooo what birth control is the best! I want one that doesn't make you gain weight and it won't prevent you from losing weight😊

I just got my mirena taken out last Wednesday, I gained about 20 lbs in 6 months and I'm very active and it mostly healthy, I had awful mood swings as well after a lot of research I went with paragard it's an iud as well but this one is the only one with no hormones (besides spermicides and condoms) and they put it in as soon as they took the other one, I haven't weigh in yet but I don't feel as bloated as I did before

I was considering Mirena... I will now think twice.

The para guard is the same as mirena but without the hormones (which adds the weight)
