hey does anyone on here have insight on how joint custody works?

With my brother and his ex , she has them Mon - Thurs , he has them Fri - Sun .

do they do it months at a time lii one gets them fall and winter or the other one gets them spring n summer

It depends on what the court orders , they'll have to both come to an agreement . But I know a few people that do it months or weeks at a time .

so if it's the weekends is it every other weekend or every weekend

whichever the parents agree with and if they can't the judge decides

does both parties have to agree on the month thing or it is as soon as one party says no it's thrown out

that's a violation and which ever party can take the other to court

even if they have a valid reason like weather conditions or hospitalization??

Like your children spend the school year with you and then go to their dad for the summer?

ye would tht work if they weren't in school?? cz we lukin at at least a 2 hr drive every other weekend @payanddomsmommy0916

Do like every other month. If you 2 sit down and talk about it with the other parent and they agree do it. I didn't go through court with mine cause we agreed to the every other weekend thing.

we are gonna have ta go thru court cz if nt she is nt gonna let us see her... if she doesn't agree does tht automatically throw it out the window??
