So, I am trying to have an open mind here. I am pretty laid back. Someone is throwing a shower for us and I dont plan on being over the top with it as far as my attire. I want to be comfy/cute lol. So the ladies hosting it are trying to convince me that I shouls atleast do my makeup. I don't really care for it bit I know how to do my eyeshadow/liner n lips. They are saying its a big occasion (like i dont already kno) and for pictures and all that stuff. Should I just do it? Cuz um pretty stubborn in my ways. I kno they have a point. What do u guys think? Did anyone else have this issue or am I jus being my ole stubborn self?

I think you should be able to do whatever you want for your baby shower. If pictures don't mean a lot to you and the experience means more, I don't think it matters. For my baby shower I didn't go over the top and I still had fun. But we didn't take many pictures and I wish we would have!

do what makes you comfortable. its not stubborn your pregnant. if i had it my way I'll be wearing sweat pants and a hoodie to my shower. im not even doing make up just lip stick and lip gloss.

@mommymcclung, thats where i am. I feel i may regret it later. I am sure I will enjoy myself, makeup isn't that important to me tho. But i do wanna look back and see something nice.

@thismomrocks87, I wish i could agree but... I was stubborn before my pregnancy lol. Thats me, sweats n hoodie lol. I planned on wearing jeans n a cute top with a maternity sash that um making myself. I thought that was good enough...but i guess not lol.. for some. Lets see how this plays out.

@pess83, this is exactly what um talkn about. I think I may love my comfort too much. I forget about doing things for myself sometimes. I may be just in my routine.
