okay I have a question. do we HAVE to have our membranes scraped or can we tell our OB that we don't want it to be done? I'm seriously dreading the final weeks I always get super nervous which my blood pressure goes up at each appointment due to the cervix check

@trice4990 wow that's a really long labor 😰 and lol well you never hear that everyday lol and well my kids always came out at night so the cafeteria was closed so my friend brought be food I was starving
@adrianasmtz1994, I was in labor for 28 hours and they told me after my c section I wasn't allowed to eat until I farted lol and I told the lady okay I farted where's my food?! And she told me I had to wait till the next day still😡
@trice4990 wow that's crazy and lol well after labor I always was brought whataburger lol I hope I get it again this time lol
@adrianasmtz1994, yeah the only reason I was ready to be induced that day is because I had a few friends that had babies right around me that went for their stress test and got sent over for low water levels! Only thing I regret is not eating! Next time I'm stopping at mcdonalds on my way there! Screw not eating for over 24 hrs!
@trice4990 oh dang well you see I didn't even know I was going to be induced he just had told me to be at the hospital at a certain time and tell the front office my baby wasn't moving much.. si me being a ftm back then didn't know what was going to happen...
@adrianasmtz1994, wow that's crazy! My doctors in PA won't induce until your 42.5 weeks along unless for a problem. I got a stress test done at 42 weeks to determine when to get induced and they said my water levels were low (obviously because I was so late) that they sent me over to get induced
@trice4990 idk with NY 1st he didn't want me to pass 40w so I was induced but my 2nd she came like 2w earlier than her due date. I hope I can skip it though I always get tense
@adrianasmtz1994, request for it not to be done. I don't think there's a requirement for them to do it. Plus you would think doctors would not want to speed up the process?
I never had it and my doctor never mentioned it
oh also it helped me with my 2nd baby when I went to my next appointment I had to be sent to the hospital because I was already dialated 6-7cm @trice4990
@trice4990 well mine has done it on both of my previous pregnancies it hurt really bad I started cussing(I have very low pain tolerance)
I never had mine done. My doctors told me it doesn't work anyway and I asked to have it done
