what would you do if you were me? I worked as a temp for a job for a project until Dec. 30th when the project ended. I was rehired for a postion with the same company a few days ago but for $9 an hour. There's no room to grow and it's a 25 minute commute but it's decently easy, data entry position. I applied for a different position literally within walking distance from me, so no commute, plus it's $10 an hour with more job stability BUT it's a warehouse position. I always told myself I'd not work another warehouse job but it's mon-fri 7AM-3:30 pm. my data entry job is 10AM-6PM with every other weekend off and every other Wednesday alternates with every other Saturday. my fiance works night shift and has to wake up at 8PM for work each night. my question to you ladies is WHAT WOULD YOU DO???? I'm at a loss. 😢😭😭😭😭

I would take the warehouse job honestly just because it sounds more stable and if you want you can walk home for lunch. And spend more time with your husband. The data job would be great if it paid more or was at a walking distance. You'll be spending money to commute.

I would take warehouse, your saving money on gas and the hours and money is better.

thank you ladies! @t142 @saunshyne @adiaz419 I'm gonna try going with that. I applied but I have to go to the warehouse to speak to someone in person, possibly sometime this week. it will be nice to literally walk there and not have to drive if I don't want to. ☺

@brendabravo93 nope not really. I asked one woman who has been working there 6 years in the same position I'm working in, and she's not even had a raise in 4 years!! plus she said they only get paid time off. they don't get sick time or personal time either.

@jessicarose0602, well I would go with their job, whatever you are happier doing? The other job is only 40$ more a week but closer commute but if your not happy, it's not worth it

true. I'll just have to talk to someone if possible at the warehouse and see what it consists of. I just wanna be happy. @brendabravo93 thank you for your input!

Weigh your pros and cons. No commute. More money. Weekends and evenings are home! And the job you have now may also end like the first one did. Just check out the warehouse and make sure it's not something that'll injure you or exhaust you.
