My poor baby is still running a slight fever. 99.5° at last diaper change. Has anyone given a 5 week old tylenol to reduce fever?

Under 3 months they need to be seen by a dr if it gets over 100.4
@1st_time_wonder thanks that's what i thought.. @deckroth2001 i know right..they change recommendations like 5 times a yr lol
I may not know anything but I think it's different for under 3 months . I would call your pediatrician. I have 5 kids and they change things all the time
100.4° is the temp ypu need to consider the hospital
Yesterday his dr told me it was considered feverish at 99.5. Im not gonna giving him any but he's caught a virus and had diarrhea for the past 2 days. I was looking it up and saw that lots of people give their babies tylenol but Tylenol recommended talking to your dr first. Im just keeping him on the boob and snuggling him 😊 @marliemacieowensmomma
99.5 is actually a normal temp for a baby, no Tylenol needed.
