Buy buy baby . The best items I received were crib, changing table,mamaroo, lamb & ivy music mobil crib and more

Definitely add some big stuff like the traveler stroller set you fell in love with. High chair. Tummy time mat. Some small essentials like baby shampoo, body wash and diaper cream. Diaper bag. The brand of wipes and diapers you plan to use. Baby tub. Bottles you prefer. Medicine (tylenol and gripe water work wonders!)

If you're having a shower do a diaper raffle where everyone brings a pack of diapers to get a ticket. I got all of the big stuff I placed on my registry 😊

Create the registry at the beginning and just add things as time goes on and you get advice from other moms. You can always edit later but instead of trying to remember you can just add things as you think of them. :) Target's registry was the easiest to work with for me and my friends, and I have used everything I got from it.

Buy buy baby and target . Free gifts when you go in and set a registry. Amazon but you have to have a set list , buy 10$ off your registry and be a prime member to get gift box .

Items I'm glad I got/purchased:

•Tons of lotions and soaps. - My son is almost 10 months and I still have yet to have to buy any.

•Sleepers with zippers & Sleep Sacks. - They saved my life for diaper changes in the night and my fidgety baby when I dressed him. Quick.

•Hygenie necessities. (nail clippers, diaper creams, baby powder, wipes, etc) I didn't buy a ton of diapers, and I'm glad I didn't because I found I hated pampers and preferred Huggies or Luvs.

•Baby Bath - I suggest you get something that baby can grow into. My son was a big baby and grew fast. He outgrew the tub someone had bought me fast and I needed to purchase another one.

•Swing or vibrating seat. - Helped so much when I needed to clean up and he was wide awake.

•Baby Wrap or carrier. - Saved my life. He hated his stroller at first so it worked wonders when going out to eat and food shopping.

•Carseat - I wish I had purchased a convertible carseat because my son got so big so fast and we had to purchase another carseat because he was too big for his newborn seat.

•Stroller - Again, I'd make sure it's something they can grow with. I got the snap and go for his newborn carseat and while it was convenient and super easy, it could no longer be used when he outgrew his newborn seat.

•Receiving blankets - I bought a ton and he used them like crazy. Spit up, messy milk face, drool, it came in handy and we went through them fast.

•Regular blankets - imo, you can never have too many cuddly baby blankets.

•Diaper bag - everything goes in this so it's a given.

Things I purchased that I didn't need or would have changed:

• Sleepers or outfits with buttons - such a pain in the butt. I avoided them and just went to the zips or sacks.

•Swaddles - my son hated them. He'd scream the second we would put it on. I bought him so many and he never used them.

•Baby shoes - When he could fit in the shoes, he hated them and they'd fall off. When he wouldn't have cared, he had already outgrown them. One or two pairs for show or pictures is good. More than that is too much.

Besides the obvious of baby clothes and such, that's really it. I wish I had gotten more hats, I only had a few and my son had a huge head so he didn't fit in them for long. I got so many newborn close and he grew so fast and also didn't fit in some of them because he was a hefty baby. I think If I had to do it over, I would have bought less clothes and I would have gotten him the comfy stuff instead of the fancier clothes that I picked.

I created mine in the beginning and added as time went on. I didn't add any clothes because everybody gets you those anyways. I just put the big stuff on there mainly.

Registered during my second trimester . I think I was about 5 or 6 months pregnant. I registered at target for my daughter but for my son I registered at both babies r us and target . Both places have a pretty good selection for baby stuff. I made sure to include all the essentials as well as things that I thought were cute so people could get an idea of what I like for the baby even if they didnt plan to buy from the registry. I'd say some of the more important things are boppy, onesies, gowns and sleep n plays were the best for 0-6 months, diapers and wipes - can never get enough of those, baby mitts , bath items like a bath tub and baby wash , receiving and / or swaddle blankets . Things I didn't really use were newborn size clothes. My babies both grew too fast for them.
