I am just so frustrated right now. I took my daughter for cps screening and she did terrible. I knew she had a speech delay, that was expected, but sitting there and watching all the questions she couldn't answer correctly just piss me off. My friends kids don't even go to daycare and they know more than $150 a week I paid that damn daycare. I work with her at home but I knew she just wasn't getting it.

maybe she has a learning disability that the daycare isn't equipped to handle?

They all learn at their own pace. My nephew didn't really start talking til he was enrolled in kindergarten. His brother is 11 months older than him so he just always translated everything for his brother.

Every child is different and there could be various reasons for it. I wouldn't get upset with her, or the daycare particularly but rather evaluate other aspects.

I wouldn't worry about it some kids even if they have other kid to kid interactions have delayed speech. people want their kids talking at 1 year old, id just let kids be kids. my husband chose to not speak til he was 4 years old and he was in honor roll and a very social kid in high school. I'd be pissed at the daycare for not trying hard enough or not talking with you about it but I wouldn't sweat it.

@dawnrose even if she did they should have informed me on the multiple occasions I asked if she was having trouble. But no they said she was fine and talking but when she was home I didn't see that. I only saw her 3-4 hours out the day when I was taking classes.
