who got the epidural during labor? do you have lower back problems?

I never had the best back to begin with and have a bad shoulder. Since I got my epi (I had two needles one in my lower back one in the shoulder) I have had the most back pain and now my one good shoulder is shitty. My pain is in my lower back but a few inches up . My shoulder forget it i have to stretch them out for 10 mins before I work them out and i have experienced pain From working my shoulders. 😑😑😑 but... still worth it. I was in the hospital overnight before my daughter was born. Lol

I had it with my 1st and never experienced any issues, it's been 17 years. I have heard a lot of woman having issues though

The epidural didnt fuck up my back but it recked my hip. Because I couldn't feel anything during labor I didn't know until afterwards, my hip was accidentally dislocated from getting pushed back so roughly while she was crowning.

@bria with my last pregnancy i had to get the epi twice cause the first didn't work. worst feeling ever.

i have really bad pain in my lower back sometimes it hurt to bend over to pick stuff up from the floor. maybe it's also cause I'm not active.

yes!!!!! they didn't put mine in right and the one who had placed it left to go home. so a different guy came in and just twisted it around in my back instead of taking it out and replacing it. now my right lower back hurts every once in a while and sometimes my legs go numb

I dont have a "back problem" but sometimes i feel presure and sharp pain where they put the needle

mine hurts so bad I can feel it in my stomach
