I'm super confused right now....I thought my period was starting Monday but all I had was light…

I'm super confused right now....I thought my period was starting Monday but all I had was light pink/brown discharge. It lasted Monday to Wednesday and it was very light, like it didn't even come close to soaking a light tampon. I also had experienced some mildish cramping. Monday through Wednesday afternoon my cervix was low, super soft, and open. Last night and today it has moved back some and his now hard and firm. Could I have been having implantation bleeding?

Also should I wait to test or should I test tomorrow morning?

I didn't have implantation bleeding with my daughter so I have no clue.
