My doctor told me it's not big deal if you fail the first one, something could've just been off that day. I passed but your doctor should have a handout on all of it? I wouldn't freak out just yet!

I failed the one hour.... they had me pricking my finger everyday unfortunately.... I also failed the 3 hour..I wouldn't worry about it yet until you get that 3 hour done just dont eat anything... not even water.... they told me no water as well.... and if you fail that then theres a few things thst can happen like baby being way bigger bcuz of the gestation diabetes etc...but until you do that dont worry about it. But that three hour is a pain in the AAASSSSSS!!! Theres also a chance you could only fail PART of the three hour and they may just label you glucose intolerant and that's different from gestational diabetes...so they'll only prick your finger everytime you go in to see tour OB they'll do it for you... goodluck💖💕💖💕💖

I have some kind of osis where my sugar doesn't stay at one level. I've always had that but it's never been a problem in my everyday life. I didn't take my prenatal or my extra iron pill before I took my test could that have affected it? @rmreed,

I failed my one hour one and I failed my 3 hour one. But my 3 hour one I only failed one of the hours and my number was only over by like 2 or 3 points. But from my experience (every doctor is different) I went to a faternal medicine specialist and talked to a dietitian who put me on a meal plan and I was only allowed a certain amount of fats etc. then I met with a diabetes RN and I got a meter and I have to prick myself 2 hours after I eat breakfast lunch and dinner. And record it all on a piece of paper. And the specialist has been measuring the baby and her weight just to make sure she's staying on track. It's not as scary as it sounds! It's more of a pain in the butt counting carbs and crap. But good luck!! And feel free too message me if you have any questions!!!

Just make sure you watch your carbs I have type 2 and im 31 weeks it's not as hard as people think.

I passed my 3 hour test. Thank god I done a lot of praying. I hope you pass yours as well! @mrsloro,
