I got married to my man in the court at age 20 (we we're together since 16 yrs old) & after we went to dinner with family. I enjoyed it so much. it was so meaningful. my family kept pushing for a "real" wedding after that (since it was just the hubby & I at the court). we caved & yes I enjoyed my beach wedding, but if I could do it again I would have done something smaller. the court is a beautiful option.💞👍

Because I don't deal with a lot of people @mamalotus, I don't like a lot of people PERIOD.

@miamimommy17 I was kind of young & way too much of a people pleaser so I went with what others wanted, that was 7 years ago. if it were NOW or a couple years ago I would have told my family no & that we're already married & we already had a celebration. I feel you. I can't say I'm fond of many people either. 😁 good for you. you will not regret it. 💞

I vaguely remember. once you have your marriage license you're good to go. at least that's how it works in Florida.

Just go to the court house and get the certificate. If you have 2 witnesses with you and they sing then it's done. Call your local

Court hours to make sure of the times and if you need to make an appt. they'll tell you what you need to do.
