Keep trying to get her to latch don't give up! And just because you don't pump a lot has nothing to do with your actual milk supply. A pump is a machine it does just that. Try skin to skin with baby and run your nipple from her tip of her nose to her mouth and keep doing that she will more than likely open her mouth for your boob to go in and just keep trying it can be a struggle for some moms at first if baby wants to be stubborn. I've never had a problem with my son latching but these are all things my lactation consultants and nurses have told me from when he is born till now.

Try using a nipple shield. I know my son was a lazy nurser and made my nips cracked and bleeding ouch. My lactation consult gave me a nipple shield to use. He latched great after that and self weaned off the shield at 4 weeks to just straight breast. He is now 14 months old and still loves nursing

@ashlybrewer12, how are you using the fennel oil? Topically or orally? I was thinking about adding it to my daily capsule but I haven't been able to find which is more effective. If topically, are you using a carrier oil or applying it neat?
