Okay so my baby was breastfed for almost 2months she is going to be 3months on the 25th but I had to take her off the breast because she was spitting up horribly all over the place right after she would eat. I was getting told by lactation consultants and pediatricians that she could be allergic to my breastmilk very rare but it happens. Or that I needed to completely cut dairy. So I went ahead and stopped breast feeding because it would take up to 8 weeks anyway to clear all the dairy out of my body so that we could see if that was the problem and now no formula is working for her. I've tried A.R I've tried gerber gentle and she was on newborn for supplementing when she was breast feeding because she wasn't gaining weight. Oh and soy. I have each of those one too two weeks and she is still spitting up really bad and now she starts crying right after spitting up. I want to breastfeed my baby so bad idk what to do.

honestly spitting up is normal for a while. if its a lot and shes not gaining or shes losing weight its a problem. but they grow out of spitting up. my 5mo still pukes a little sometimes. and yeah allergy to moms milk is rare so I wouldnt worry about it

o u really ain't gonna like wat I got to say but my son had the same problem n they had to do surgery on him BC his stomach n his intestines were knotted up together but after the surgery he was able to eat my breast milk n he gained weight real quick he got caught up on his weight

She is doing okay on weight. But the spit up is super bad and it's every time she eats. It's all curdled and smells horrible.

The doctor confirmed that she is allergic to my breastmilk so I would never be able to feed her. 😫 that for some reason my body isn't responding to what she needs!

oh 😐 im sorry thats terrible. poor little. your doctor didnt help you pick a formula? they should be able to

YeAh we have been trying the AR for a couple weeks now and still no change. She has an appointment today so I'll let her know.

If it's dairy that she's allergic to then that explains why the formula you've tried isn't working either. Two of my boys have milk allergies and we used Nutramigen by Enfamil and I don't do dairy so that I can breastfeed the youngest.

I've heard reflux can make babies spit up like that I'd definitely ask my first had it but not that bad but it did make her spit up a lot and it smelt bad they'll give her medicine for it

That's what they did. They gave her medicine to try and she said if that doesn't work by her next appointment they will put her on nutramigen
