Spot wash with dish soap and a washcloth. If it's bad then you gotta try and put them in the machine under hand wash and light soil. I put them in the dryer on no heat with a dry towel to help absorb the moisture and keep them from banging around.

I wash ours in the washing machine. You can get one of those mesh laundry bags to put them in so it's not as rough on them.
