So I have 3 weeks to decide what birth control I want. I have never been on any before. We just used the pull out method lol and it worked until we decided to try. Can I get yalls opinions on the different birth controls yall have been on or are on? I know it can be different on everyone.

I use a patch I change once a week, I wear one for 3 weeks, then take it off for a week and I have my cycle. I like it, I can't ever remember to take the pill every day

Please do not try the Depo shot, I was on it only one time and I've been trying to conceive for a year and a half & I finally got pregnant it really blows you up & affects you from trying to conceive when you want

I got the arm implant after my sister in law raved about it. I love it! They being said, everyone is different and while it may not have any negative effects on me, it might on someone else. The thing I liked about this one is that I could have it removed at any time and it's good for 3 years. :-)

I had the depo first and it cause soooo many problems.. after I got the mirena and I like it. But if you're going to do a IUD I'd get the non hormone one.. you might have better luck with it

I was on the for a year and got really bad uti from it then when I stopped it my cycle didn't come back for over a year
