so I've been supplanting my baby with formula because she wasn't getting milk. an she can't latch so we're pumping an feeding instead. well this is all I was able to make at one time. do I still give it to her? it just looks like so little because she's used to drinking 2 oz of formula. I'm clueless on this any advice is appreciated.

Supplementing is going to make your supply drop because your body doesn't think it needs as much as she is eating. Try pumping every time she eats.

Give it to here 😁 my son had the same issue and now latches by himself, after 3 months with a shield!!! Keep at it

I would try a nipple shield for match issues. That will get her to getting your body to making milk.

so I gave her the milk /colostrum an then finished off with formula but she puked alot of it up after. . is it because she didn't realize she was full .. or does it not agree with her stomach?? @mommytoaiden @brittanya91 @krprincipe

@aliakr, bottles cause a lot of gas which could also be the root of the spit up..I agree with @krprincipe, @brittanya91, try a shield to get her to latch

Definitely could be because you're giving her a bottle. my daughter had lots of gas and she was formula fed. where as my son had very minimal gas and was breastfed.
