@jayraemama, sorry you got crap over it! I just made the decision as her mom that I thought was best. She won't remember the pain less chance of infection and she won't pull them out this way.
I got my daughters ears done right after we left the doctor from getting her 2 month shots. Everyone gave me shit about getting them done early, but I wanted to do it then rather than later. I knew if I waited until late it would be a fight to get her to sit still. And getting them done while their so little they don't remember. Tinley actually slept through the girl doing her right ear and only cried for a minute when she done the left one.
I'm going to get my baby's done after her TDAP shots and her Dr. gives me the ok. I'm going to request they do it at the same time. I think it's better to do it younger, so they don't remember or tugging on their ears.
