We were discharged late last night, like 11pm late. But we enjoyed today. Greyson had his first check-up (that's how we got discharged so soon) and he is doing great! Haven't had to supplement with a bottle since his 6am feed. He's been going 20+minutes strong on each side, and he is a sleeper! Like his mommy he enjoys sleep!

We are still using the nipple shield, and once my milk comes in we'll try to wean off that, but for right now, that's helped our success. My nurse last night, before we left, spent a good amount of time trying to force my nipple into his mouth and he wasn't too happy about it. Talking to the pediatrician today she said if it's working for you use it and maybe in a few days or a week try to do a feeding without it. She said if it's working, use it.
