Is this something you have to specifically ask for or will dr offer it to you and do they charge u extra?

Not sure about other states, but here they will only do it if you have complicated pregnancies or if you are an older mommy like 40+. Insurance doesn't cover it and it's expensive.

Haven't heard of it. I asked my doctor about it when I was pregnant but they couldn't do it bc of my insurance. Doesn't really matter now lol.
