Does anyone know if you can claim tax credits for last 3 months of maternity when you don't get paid…

You can claim tax credits the whole time you're on maternity if combined together you're not over a certain amount. Under 30 hours alone you can claim tax credits

@charlotteandharry, I work 30 hours normally but when I go back I'm reducing to 26 hours over 3 days instead of 30 over 4 hours. I should just call up and ask really shouldn't I? I'm not sure we are eligible to be honest x

@charlotteandharry, yeah o don't think we are eligible, just done the calculator online, but obviously I knew that as it asks for earnings for last year, I was wondering for the 3 months I don't get paid after July before I return back to work. I'm pretty sure we won't get anything I just thought I'd make sure lol x

Yeah when my other half moved in with me working 24 hours a week we weren't eligible for any type of help so I just bit the bullet and changed my contract to full time x
