I am so happy I could almost cry. It has been a long road but here we FINALLY are. My son has severe ADHD. He was always the last one in his class, he had bad grades. So last year I made a decision I said I would never make, I put him on medicine. And he's finally above his peers and has awesome grades! I couldn't be more proud of him! I remind him all the take this isn't because of he medicine, I told him since the beginning, it wouldn't make him smarter, it would just help.him.concentrate. So this is all him! Hard work pays off!

My 8 year old son has it too and I had to make the same decision best I ever made!!

The effect it has had is his appetite slowed down but to us it was a plus because he's my chunky boy. So as long and he eats right he should be fine.

@kateyez5 that's the only effect it has on my son too hes all bones 60 pounds but doctor said he's fine. He's off them during the summer and gains 10 pounds

My son only takes his during time we do schoolwork no weekends or during the summer either.

Mine used not to take during the weekends but he has practice and he asked me for it so he can pay attention and his games @kateyez5

Nothing wrong with that sometimes I give meds on weekend it's it's an activity that requires a lot of sitting or focus

@kateyez5 yes! I know it helps him way more than what it affects him that's for sure. I used to think otherwise
