I'm so nervous idk if I can breastfeed I been leaking but if anything I want to do Gerber formula

why are you nervous?

Bc my sister in law said she couldn't get her son to suck so I'm woundering if I can't get my baby boy to I mean I really want to breastfeed I been leaking but not a lot I wounder if it will happen a lot when I go into labor

Don't be nervous all you can do is try! The more you nurse the more milk will come in. It looks like you just had your baby (congrats!) it can take up to a week for your milk to come in so a lot of people think they aren't making enough milk for their babies but at that age they don't need much and the little bit that you've been leaking is enough! The more your body feels your baby suckling the more I knows to produce, when you feed formula you skip that chance of your body knowing it needs to make more if that makes sense. Supply and demand. Nurse every chance you get, stay positive this is what our bodies were made to do. If you can't it's ok too don't let it get you down as long as you can say you tried! We're here for you 🙂

Sorry I thought it said you had a two day old! If you didn't have your baby yet don't worry if you leak or don't leak before having him that doesn't determine you won't be able to breastfeed some women leak others don't. I personally didn't produce anything until the last few weeks of my pregnancy and it would only come out if I squeezed and now I've been breastfeeding for over 10 months 🙂

I was nervous I wouldn't be able to breastfeed also but my baby matched right away and my milk took about a week to come in full supply but I never gave up. You got this! 🙂
