My son has been asking all week to sleep in his big by bed downstairs, I have not let him because we sleep upstairs and it's big enough he is on the opposite side and we don't interfere with each other and I feel safer cuz he doesn't need to crawl up the stairs to get us nor do I want him going up and down stairs by himself yet without me right behind incase he falls. Well he sat in my arms and fell asleep so I moved him to his big boy bed and he woke up in the process and got excited and crawled under the covers and hit his pillow (fluff) signed good night and went to sleep. Maybe he is ready. I guess I'll move down the video baby monitor so I can make sure. Might be a sleepless night for me lol
