Early intervention came today to evaluate my daughter for her speech delay and it was determined that she will get speech therapy once a week. I'm so happy !! I was very concerned but so glad e will get the proper help for her. Early intervention is great the employees are amazing, kind, and caring.

Thank you for being a parent who understands the importants of getting the help your childs needs at such a young age. I work in child care & hate when parents are in denial & delay they child of getting services they need.

@janine724, I do understand why a parent would be in denial. My sister was with my nephew and got help too late and things got bad. She didn't wanna believe anything was wrong with him and it was so hard on her. (He is now getting evaluated with autism but they said he does have it) So from seeing how my sister handled things taught me what not to do. I'm very open with my daughters doctors and make sure to communicate any concerns I have. Also with her being preemie I never want her to fall behind so I'm on top of her milestones and make sure to update her doctors on any and everything
