I'm having a personal struggle. I've struggled with depression, anxiety, and eating disorders/body image my whole life. After getting pregnant I was happy but I worried about my body the entire time. I look at my little girl and I lover so much it hurts and I don't blame her for my problems But now I look into a mirror at my body and I hate it. I hate it so much it brings me to tears. It's not about the stretch marks cause god knows I have them. It's the hanging flabby tummy. It's the fact that no matter what I do I can't help but stress eat all the time. I worry about falling into the hole I have been in and out of for pretty much my whole life. I'm not looking for pats on the back or pity. I just thought if anyone would understand these feelings it might be the other women that also have gone through the crazy changes that happen to your body after having a baby.

Well I'll put myself out there.. I have a flabby floppy tummy that looks like a kangaroo pouch and before having kids I had a flat mid section. I had my son at age 20 so you could imagine how devastated I was to have this flap for a tummy. I broke up with my son's father and met my daughter's father a yr later. I got pregnant for him 4 yrs later and wasn't happy but was better off than with mny sons dad so I thought. Partially I stayed in a dead in relationship for a decade because my thoughts were so negative about my stomach. He made me feel and told me no man would want me with a stomach like that 😱. I became more depressed suffered from post partum depression and wanted to end my life. I never understood why he was with me because I met him with my stomach like that frommmy first child. 🤔 as I started to heal my.life and begin my self discovery journey I realized that the world is ready to hurt me but why should I hurt me too. I do know that plastic surgery can repair my saggy skin so there is an answer to my issue but I don't care as much anymore. My husband loves every inch of mostly me too. Now that I'm not having anymore children l may contemplate surgery but not sure. @mommy1991

I haven't had my baby yet so I can't say I can relate completely.. but my body is changing...nothing fits and it sucks! but I think about the miracle my body is performing and I stay focus on that. I too get down at times when I can't help but eat eat eat. it can be depressing. I'm glad u have this place to come and share your feelings with because I am pretty sure you are not alone. Maybe try to start going to the gym with a buddy and stay focus. even before having a baby the stomach is the hardest thing to lose. it looks so easy when u see the stars on the tv bounce right back. don't let there progress deter u. u can do this. weather permitting go for walks with the baby. U will be OK. hugs

@mommy1991 it takes time but alot of our issues are in our minds because I found a man that loves my jiggly belly and our bodies are like a suitcase... just carrying the important things around so don't focus too much on the outside and learn to love all of you flaws included 😉
