Question time. When can you start putting blankets on babies? When should you? How do you know if they need one?

My daughter just started sleeping with an actual blanket when she turned 5 1/2 months...she started sleeping with her lovey when she was 4 months. It started getting colder so I decided to put a blanket on her when she sleeps, but I also started putting her to sleep in her rock n play (by fisher price) so it's a little easier since she doesn't put it over her face. Good luck!!!!
