No bashing but my babies are tummy babies. They sleep way better on their tummies. I would rather them not be as safe (I don't agree with it being unsafe as it changes so often on what is the right way) than no one in our house getting sleep.

My son was a tummy baby. He use to never sleep with me. Stayed with my mom on fridays due to I work late hours and so did my husband and she grew up with him sleeping on tummy so st her house would sleep 8 hours straight. I guess it's because they get into a deeper sleep but st my house after he learned to turn his head and could lift it we let him sleep on his side and he would pick hi back or tummy and that helped a lot cuz it was his decision on what way he was more comfortable

all my kids have survived they are 9 8 and 6. they sleep way better when they are comfortable

my older 2 son's are 21yrs old&13 they slept on their tummys also.Now w a new newborn i know the doctors recommend their backs to sleep on. Only when i am not sleepy myself..I'll put him on his tummy.. while i am.cleaning the house or doing things.yes he sleeps better..but..for now at night he sleep on his back as dr says..he is 3 wks&1 day and trying to hold his head up..
